ROCHELLE - A 34-year-old Hillcrest man suffered minor injuries after a two vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Hillcrest. The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office says around 6:30 AM they were called to Illinois Route 251 and East Twombly Road for a collision. They say that the Hillcrest man was stopped on 251 attempting to turn onto Twombly road, when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by a 30-year-old Rochelle man. The Hillcrest man was transported to Rochelle Community Hospital by Rochelle EMS. The other driver was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
